With a background rooted in the "one-woman band" philosophy of needing to know the reason behind every mark and material, she has spent hours meticulously studying history and craftsmanship. Joanne spends hours physically authenticating every piece that enters the collection, verifying every hallmark and ensuring no detail escapes her.
"I don't buy anything I wouldn't wear myself. It has to stay stone-cold to the touch and meet my Forensic Standard. If it doesn't give me that 'flutter' of excitement and stand up to the truth, it doesn't make the cut."
